Next mending session: Sat 15th October 2011 (10-3pm Sewing and Leather)
We are in the process of trying to restart Tinker Tailor and hopefully even expand the project ! In the meantime we are holding volunteer-run mending sessions once a month at Out of The Blue Drill Hall on the same days as the Fleamarket (www.edinburghfleamarket.blogspot.com)
More dates for your diary: Sat 19th Nov, Sat 17th Dec
Tinker Tailor is Out of the Blue's mending service with a twist. The twist is that you get to do the mending, under the helpful eye of one of our fabulous and friendly menders.
So not only do you leave with your item as good as new, but with the heady and happy feeling of having fixed it yourself and having learnt a brand new skill!
We want to encourage all manner of fixing, mending, repairing so feel free to come and ask our advice! Check for updates on what mending skills are available at each session.
